
"I fell in love with him and what he was doing. It was very romantic and at the time I thought "here's someone I could really work with," and that's how it all started.
Corky Lenox has a long history of working with clay. He attended the Alberta College of Art in 1971-1972 where he rediscovered the wheel.
"As soon as I found clay and the wheel, that was it. I gave up my ambition to become a sign painter, and I've been a mud slinger ever since."
As soon as he finished his course with A.C.A. Corky instinctively headed for the West Coast and set up a workshop in Victoria and then later on Salt Spring Island where he was a resident for many years.
Now ,with Paddy by his side, the two of them spend their time bringing their inner visions to life through the magic of Raku.
