Corky Lenox first met Paddy Littlestar at Cork's Clayworks in Shawnigan Lake one warm spring evening.

"I fell in love with him and what he was doing. It was very romantic and at the time I thought… "here's someone I could really work with," and that's how it all started.

Corky Lenox has a long history of working with clay. He attended the Alberta College of Art in 1971-1972 where he rediscovered the wheel.

"As soon as I found clay and the wheel, that was it. I gave up my ambition to become a sign painter, and I've been a mud slinger ever since."

As soon as he finished his course with A.C.A. Corky instinctively headed for the West Coast and set up a workshop in Victoria and then later on Salt Spring Island where he was a resident for many years.

Now ,with Paddy by his side, the two of them spend their time bringing their inner visions to life through the magic of Raku.
